linux

I am using redhat6.2 or somthing like that, and gcc version 2.91.66.

I installed oskit-20010214. I ran ./configure, and went to /examples/x86
where I proceded to 'mklinuximage stream_netio' it was happy, and made a
zImage for me. I said COOL! so I put it in /boot/ where I have my oskit
kernel, and did '/sbin/lilo' and it said 'Kernel /boot/zImage is too big'.
I didn't know what that was all about, but the zImage was '796399' and the
'tty' example (when "maked") is only '236941', and ran fine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
