Just thought I'd drop a line to say that thanks to your confirmation of
that code I sent is working, I _think_ I've managed to isolate the problem
to the version of compiler I'm using. At home, my Slackware 7.1 system
(egcs-2.91.66) doesn't have a problem, while my lab ones do (Red Hat 5.2
and Red Hat 7, gcc2.7.2.3 and gcc2.96 respectively). My version of
binutils are the same at home and in my lab.

Also, I noticed in the README file under linux/dev/ it asks users to email
someone at flux to let them know if some of the untested drivers have been
used. I've successfully been using the eepro100 drivers with netboot for
about a year.
